Cheap wee chipper dilemma!!

Hiya,

I have decided to sell my entec chippit 18 to help fund a wee chipper as the majority of my work as a one man band would be easier with a chipper I can wheel to the job! I don't have alot of cash to play with due to a rubbish year last year for various reasons! Would love a cs100 but havnt got that kind of money and finance is not an option. I have seen a few chippers that would fit the bill but now have a dilemma, the options are;

1) Brand new "Oxdale" 13hp 3" chipper. Good cause it has a Honda engine and moveable spout, but not so good as its a disc chipper and have been lead to believe that a drum is the better option for a wee chipper. £2300.

2) Second hand GTM 1300 chipper. 13hp 3". I believe this is a drum chipper so better but has a Honda copy engine on it, fixed spout (moveable is an option @£350). £1200.

Am I better off with a drum chipper with a Honda copy engine or a disc chipper with a Honda engine? Anyone had experience of either machines?

Mmmm.....what width are power barrows generally? Go through a gateway?

Tis what they were designed to do.. the flat carriers like the honda powerbarrow have a better center of gravity than the hydraulic tip type, and can be persuaded up a step or three. They're very capable machines, carry 200 kg plus, much lower ground pressure than a micro chipper and (bar the dismantle machine and carry through house jobs) will get more places with less hassle than a micro chipper.
