Nigel fletcher said my new (1day old) Stein phantoms would take a few days to bed in, then they would feel like slippers! They already do feel like slippers. Wore my mindels out just after a year!! Won't be buying another pair of them!! Loved my pfanner Zermatts though they where still comfy after 3 years.

I'm also about to replace my boots not sure what to go for quite like the Airstreams. In the last few years I've had the Haix protector pro's and currently got the Haix air power gold. Agreed very comfy and have lasted longer than the others approaching 2yrs id get them again but I fancy a change. I find the soles on most of the boots I've had are worn out or let water in after a 1yr 1/2.

I wore my air steams for first time on Monday. Are they better with thick socks. I never noticed any air stream cool non sweat difference.

After reading another thread I went up a size. Maybe I should of gone 1/2 a size?
