Howdens Tree Surgery Ltd. is a successful family run business with an expanding client base operating in the Shropshire, Worcestershire, West Midlands and wider areas. Established in 1998 we provide a professional tree maintenance and tree removal service to a variety of clients in the commercial, domestic and utility sectors. The company is committed to Health & Safety in the workplace and Customer Service/Satisfaction.

 

Position: Full Time Utility Arborists

We are looking for enthusiastic, reliable and self-motivated individuals to join our expanding tree surgery business. Work duties will include, but are not limited to:

 

Utility Arb work.

 

Domestic & Commercial Arboriculture.

 

Job site organisation and completion of risk assessments.

 

Tool maintenance and organisation.

 

Minimum Requirements Climber:

NPTC Qualified (CS30/31/38/39/40)

UA1

UA2.1 , 2.2 & 2.3

UK Driver License

 

Minimum Requirements Groundsman:

NPTC Qualified (CS30/31)

UA1

UK Driver License

 

Beneficial Qualifications: Education in arboriculture (any level), Category C or pre 97 UK Drivers License, CSCS, PTS, Signing, Lighting and Guarding, First Aid at Work, MEWP certificate, all other relevant NPTC’s.

 

Hours: Full time (40 hours perweek + overtime)

Contract: Permanent

Salary: Dependant on experience and certificates held.

Holidays: 20 days + 8 Bank Holidays

Transport: A work vehicle will be provided during work hours, you will be expected to commute to our base near Bridgnorth in Shropshire.

Equipment: All PPE and other required equipment will be provided.

Professional Development: Additional training and qualifications will be provided as necessary as part of our commitment to maintaining and enhancing a skilled and competent workforce.
