Morning all

I tipped the bed on my 07 reg double cab transit tipper this morning and while pressing the button the bed went up 3 n 1/2 rams but would not go up any more just kept making a squealing sort of noise. Any one shed abit of light on this?? I'm new to the tipper scene

Thanks

If the noise is coming from the pump tank unit (assuming its electric) the unit is probably low on oil. The squealing noise will be the pump caveatting.

The tank should have a dipstick on it, it's often a screw in job on the top of the tank.

Prop the body before doing anything underneath.
