I bought a Karcher HD 6/13 Plus.

Very powerful, I would buy the best you can afford, some of the cheap ones can be a bit of a disappointment.

If you have ever used a good one, you will not be happy with a hobby version.

Bit like chainsaws I suppose.

When looking at the specs, it is not just the pressure that they work at, but how much water they actually pump per min.

You say it will not be used for anything else, patios always need cleaning.

The bike shop always bought dear ones and they never lasted longer than a couple of years in constant use and when one packed up they needed a replacement quick so bought a supermarket cheap nondescript make. It lasted just the same as the expensive Karchers they used to buy and cost a fifth of the price so now they keep a couple of cheap ones in stock and get them when they are on special offer. If you are using it a couple of times a year does it make sense to have £300 stood about doing nothing as opposed to £50. If you drain them down and don't let them freeze with water in they should last.

cheers, that makes sense to me, I don't care if it takes that little bit longer to wash the chassis down, as long as its better than a hose pipe.

I live on a boat so don't have a patio or any fancy garden things to go green :001_smile:

In the link?

Dunno but I have edited it so it is a clickable link now ( I hope)

Half the price of the Karcher. I bought mine a few years back on a recommendation, it is still going strong and gets a lot of farm use.

looks like I might get one of them, easy to take back if it f,s up, and good enough for a couple times a year use.

no doubt it will end up doing more, but should have a half decent returns policy.
