New saw

New to this but here goes. I have a husky 365 and stihl 064 and love them both. Use them to harvest large elms. Now thinking about going down to 1 saw. Is tis clever and what saw would be a good replacement for the two?

Any advice would be appreciated.

I've cut back to three ,and that's cos they didn't all get used , can't see how one would work for numerous reasons ,but if I had to keep one its 441

Iv always thought to work out how many saws you need you took your current number of saws and added 1 ?

But if I could only have 1 id say 461:thumbup1:

Ok best not to go to 1 then. Work a 20" on the 365 and 30" on the stihl. What would be a good smaller saw. I don't have a preference for brand but I do like my 365.

Keep the 064. One of the best saws Stihl ever made. If it doesn't have the dual port muff - get it. It is a factory option that adds better power and response.

 

That's advice coming from someone whom loves the 365/372 chassis, too.

 

Edited to say: Let me know if ya want to unload that 064!

 

A good smaller saw would be a strong 50cc saw. You can go either 261CM or 550xp, really. I like how the 550 handles better than the 261, myself.
