Just looks like a normal garden spider to me!

It is a normal garden spider.......... What 99% ok the uk haven't worked out is the steotoda genus of "false widows" have been a native uk spider for 160+ years these guys ain't new it's just because the press has jumped on the bandwagon and publicised them that the public start noticing them

These really arent all that, honestly every house, shed, garage has a steotoda living in it somewhere, there's a damn site worse than these lil chaps lurking in your shed! when you compare a bite from one of these to a wasp sting.... No ones died and out of the millions of Unrecorded spider bites 2 people every year have a reaction! It's just hysteria most uk spiders can give a nip and cause a reaction but it's just because some media doughnut coined the term "false widow" the world goes mad their not in the same genus as a latrodectrus "black widow" which in all honesty isn't even that dangerous people need to be more concerned about the volume of phonutria and cuppienus sp coming in from Brazil the Brazilian wanderer will seriously screw your world up and I've collected 25+ in the last 12 months from supermarkets most of which were gravid girls
