All those amazing carvings produced for National Trust properties, Forestry Commission woodlands, parks, gardens and...anywhere else,

does anyone sign or mark their carvings giving a unique touch and recognition or produce cards etc to show who carved the masterpieces in situ

Are carvings more 'Banksy' or recognised by the carver for visitors to the piece

I'm sure most carvers sign their work, usually with stylized initials. Runic type is great if yours are all straight lines, curvy letters are tricky to carve.

I carve an arrow head as my surname is Archer and I don't like doing S's:sneaky2:.

Wisewood ill keep my eyes open for your carves. Interesting as iv been thinking of doing the same the more i produce
