Is it acceptable to larks head a pinto onto a whoopie (with spacer)?

I am having a play round with some tenex and cant work out how to splice the pinto directly into the loop while using a locking brummel so I was going to just larks head it, does mean I can use the pinto elsewhere without the whoopie but it's nowhere near as nice looking.. :001_smile:

Its a locking brummel splice for the whoopie. Make the brummel first while you have both ends free to feed through each other then form the adjustable part. But if that is confusing you make a loopie instead! Ive got 13mm tenex tec with a pinto rig loopie
