what vehicle is best to start of with

in your opinion, what would be best to start of with. I will be mainly contracting for other people, but will also have my own little jobs. I was thinking something like an astra van or similar. And maybe get a transit tipper latter on

I did a business start up course through business link when I set up years ago, a small van was exactly what they recommended, makes good financial sense. Looks professional without looking too flash.

astra types ok if all your doing is carting saws,rope climbing kit around,for your little jobs get a small trailer.

You've got to realise when you get weight on the vehicle like a 3.5t tipper and towing... then fuel economy goes really down... 18-20mpg sometimes...
