Hourly rate in the UK

Hey.

What is the going rate as a skilled arborist, subcontracting in the UK?

My mate lives in Denmark, and has the offer of work in southern england felling trees and raising canopies.

What can he charge? Everything but chainsaws are his own.

Not sure about Hourly rate, but on a daily rate, I've had climbers asking for between £90 and £220 per day depending on how desperate they are. Personally I aim for between £160 and £250 per day depending on technicality of the job and if it's a one-off vs. regular work.
