acacia fracture pruned

todays job fracture prune this really knarly acacia any ideas how old rough ball park?

 

its one of them tree you either love or hate its kinda cool tree i think hate the powerlines dropped for couple hours while i shinned up it to do it. forgot how much fuel you go through doing fracture cuts!

Agreed they are indeed coronet cuts and well done james although i would have favoured a back cut and then with a winch or a good strong tug,sheared the front of the stems giving the illusion of storm dammage or natural fractures.would have looked like a true monolith imo...

Whats happened to the large berr on the left stem. May be 100 years old look's like it's had some limbs removed before?

 

all got cut up into little bits unfortunatly just to tight to get it off in 1 otherwise we would have. shame really. yes the back half of the tree has been completly cut off to where we cut it to it would have been massive if it had been untouched with the picture of the bur i was standing in the hollow center of the back section.
