Ive been working for nearly 2 years in the tree industry and have yet to see a contract after requesting one.

Anyone had this situation? Any beneficial reasons or rights by doing so?

You really need to take this further. There are people like Treequip, S.Blair on here that will advise you consequently and you really need to take on board what they say.

If you are employed, your employer is obliged to provide you with a copy of your contract within a set period of time from the commencement of your employment. You automatically have standard terms of employment eg holidays etc included whether you are given a contract or not.

I worked for a company as an Agriculteral mechanic for 7 years and never saw a contract. I worked for a tree surg company for 6 years aa approved and only saw a contract on the 4 th year.

Yes, it's an automatically included term as part of UK employment law
