TR70 branch logger at APF

Any one seen this at the APF, what do you think is there a market for the end product, a tow behind would be good process brash into firewood and stack bags on the back of your truck?

end product could be good for people with log burners who like tiny logs. cant se what else though really. im sure you would be able to sell the end product easily though. im surprised i mssed that at the show. where abouts was it?

Be good for boilers, just throw the whole bag in.

 

These machines were highlighted a couple of years ago on Arbtalk, I thought they were a good idea then for making money out of brashings but I feel it is a limited market,

i watched the demo it jammed a couple of times as they were too slow to switch to the second bag, it may have been the timber they were using as it just ended up with a half bag of 3 inch logs and the rest pine brash and i cant see many people paying for that.

 

it was very fast though and im sure if you were putting copice poles through you would fill some amount of bags in a day.

if you could get it in to smaller bags ,in that paper thats on the logs @ centreparcs ,it would be good for larger open fires paper would need to be moisture proof or simlar

Anyone got a price for one the way things are going at the moment regarding the Phytophera scare,any thing that can be converted to fuel,will make money sensible bit of kit id buy one.
