Just been to the Fuelwood open day, really amazing range of kit, really impressed with the layout in the woods, the new transaw is just a monster, it has some serious output, and the logs were better than i have seen before, this new splitting knife it looks awesome, it's very clever, i got talking to one of the chaps and he explained all about it, i want one now, i think that the bigger logs you tend to get when on bigger diameters are a thing of the past, would be interested to see other pics of any unusual variations that people have got to work and maybe some that did not work !

I quite like those splitters instead of changing knives, our 12 way is horrible to lift out, only problem with those is the 4 way part isn't very good, I would prefer to have one that lifts really high and has the 4 way on the bottom.

Rabaud do one, i think on the xy420 model.

More processor manufacturers should be doing it, Hakki Pilke pay attention!!!

You cannot see it in the pictures but the 4 way has a little wedge on the underside, looked like it works really well from what i saw, if u think 4 way is only about 6 / 7 inch once it's upto 8/9 upto 14 the it's going 8 ways, think its a no brainer for me. Goto be honest i do not know how people must keep changing the knives on machine that don't have a hydraulic selecta knife set up, it must drive them crackers
