Can anyone tell me why my ms170 is belching fire out of the exhaust?

I have changed the fuel ratio, but doesn't seem to make a difference. The mesh over the exhaust is glowing and a jet of fire, perhaps 60mm cones out when it's been running a few minutes, any one know what's up?

found this, so it's not the first time its happened;

I put less and then more oil in the mix to see if it made any difference (it didnt)

The mesh is fixed to the exhaust assembly, it doesn't appear to be blocked in any way. I will try change the spark plug....

Its the Kat, all 3 of mine have always done it. They are all more than 2 years old now, and if mine are anything to go by- should make a sort of popping fizzing noise, accompanied with red hot glowing/flames once the revs have dropped down to idle. Was quite interesting in the dark the first few times it happened- but i am used to it now! Sure its quite normal- otherwise i have got 3 duff ones.
