Hey all,

Ive had a little ms180 for about 9 years,it gets little use nowadays so my plan is to do an exhaust/muffler(if your north american) modification on it to up the power, just too see how much i can get.If its a decent result i might look at modifying a larger saw, maybe ms261.

My question is just how difficult is it ?

Whats entailed?

Im pretty mechanically minded so im capable(i hope)

The 180 has no carb adjustment so is it possible just to mod the exhaust???

Thanks for all replies and advice in advance folks :001_smile:
