After recent damp weather my current mower setup was just awful in the wet I would rather strim as it gave a better finish & was quicker. I wanted a light simple easy to use mower which was powerful enough to deal with long grass. I bought this Viking MB248. I have only used it for a few hours no drive but its so light 26kg you dont know your pushing it. Realy easy to pick up off the ground you can swing it above your head. It goes through thick damp grass and throws it in box no fuss. Simple controls you just give it a tug & your going. The only complant so far is grass box is crap only place to hold in to it + you have to put you hand in to get grass out. I will keep you posted.

Ha Ha Give it a tug, Blow me, Slide the jonny on. All part of my dialect at work. Only effects those with a filthy mind lol. About the mower being light has such an advantage i would never ask it to mow a big lawn but the smaller lawns its ideal. Just have to wait for a rainy day see what it does in wet.
