The electrical supply wattage should be stamped on the heater?

Bit of a lash up but you could just wire a leisure battery in series with a fused supply from the vans battery. Connect the 12v fused supply from the van to the negative on the leisure battery and the positive on the leisure battery to the heater via a fuse. That'll put 24v on the heater. Fix the battery and cover the terminals securely or there'll be fireworks if the battery rolls around or gets the terminals shorted!!

I had thought about a second battery, but I like the idea of buying a £30-£40 step up converter to make things a little easier/tidier.

I spoke on the phone to Jon about this earlier, he talked me through exactly what I needed to run it the way I want to. I've checked on a few different websites and it sounds like he's bang on the money........ Smart bloke that Mendiplogs........ Never thought I'd say that.
