LAND ROVER 110 brakes thanks all

Hi all right re front and rear brakes on the rear of our 110 there solid discs not vented on rear can we fit rear vented rear disc and new rear Calipers too on our old ex gas Utilities one on the rear was 90 Front discs on the rear of 110 the brakes are really good thanks John

There is no vented option for the rear axle personally I run front vented and rear standards the all makes cross drilled and groves performance discs are good and green stuff encourage pads help too !

 

HI MATE why can i not fit them them or better callipers on the rear thanks jon :thumbup:

No one makes vented calipers and you need to keep the bias to the front for correct stopping properly maintained brakes with free moving none biinding or sticking Pistons good discs and pads and regular brake fluid changes (2 years) and good servo and master cylinder should stop that landrover on a sixpence ! It's amazing the number of landrovers which I have seen with sticking Pistons makes a big big difference ! That's why I tend to rebuild all my calipers using stainless steel Pistons which don't corrod and stick !
