Anyone have any experience with pfanner kevlar extreme chainsaw trousers? Thinking of buying them for use in the uk, will they be too hot? or ok as they are type a..

Cheers

Yep I have them in the red color . They are type A front only with zip vents . They have a very high back ( drought protection ) . I prefer the fit of the Gladiator ventilation that I have in grey . I thought the extreme would be similar in shape but they are slightly different .

Type A are fine, maybe a tad warmer but I seem to wreck trousers by climbing with a stropped up saw and ripping the backs of the legs up there seems no different to the klima airs on the extremes so don't bother with them more.

ye i find the backs of the lower leg always gets trashed, is there any reason they cant put that ultra tough black fabric all the way around from the knee down???? makes sense in my mind:001_smile:

The reason they can't is that they want to sell you new ones.

yep thats what i thought, but if word got out that said pair with tough lower leg lasted a good bit longer then would they not sell to more people??
