Agreed, real flu ( which I haven't had in 40 years) wouldl leave you incapable of anything except suffering.

Don't kid Ya self! I was "taken ill" ten years ago, with a "virus"! I was rushed from Suffolk into Univesty college hosptal n London, where I stayed for a few days, bloods taken regulary, septicaemia setting in........flu like bugs can get the better of us.

Use of the term 'flu' lightly annoys me more than anything on Earth.

More people died in Europe during the 1914-1918 war from flu than fighting.

Yeah, ive been lucky and never had "proper flu" Know a couple of people that have, one said he cuddled a radiator for a day and literally couldn't move.
