Any one got any experience of them? I've been offered one with ally tipper bed in good condition. Think it was originally a 5 ton and been downplated to 3.5. Been told it pulls well and mechanically sound so I'm tempted but will go and have a look tomorrow but I don't want to be buying a bucket lol

I have one 2.5 td pulls like a train even when loaded and pulling a chipper. Only put two ball joints on it in three years and the usual servicing. Rubbish off Tarmac as it only a single wheel unless you got a bit of weight in it. My vw mechanic reckons the timing belts are only good for 40000 miles. If its a good van your looking at you won't go wrong.

I looked after a roofing company's lt for a few years, timming belt tensioner failed-snapped the camshaft into 3bits and needed a new cylinderhead....it had only done 37,000 at the time! THEN the diff gave it, new rear axel =£3,000 I'm sure

They ain't bad really :001_huh:

Cheers guys I'm going to have a look at it today so will find out more and have a drive. It's my mate who is selling it so hopefully all will be good with it as he wants to keep it but can't afford to as he is skint after building his new house
