Phaeolus resistant conifers

Hi, I've recently lost 3 mature pines in a green space by side of a fairly busy road. 2 of these heavily affected by Phaeolus. When I say lost, i mean had felled. I'm after replacing these and would like a similar species to be in keeping with the area. I've ruled out more scotties due to the prevelance in this area (also fruiting bodies recorded in rooting area of trees with no target).

Are there any pines that are resistant? If not, what would you suggest as closest most suitable species?

Adam, I haven't got the time but it may be worth you trawling the 17 pages of records on the FRDBI data base for Phaeolus.

It goes back to 1850 for this species and has 1665 records across a number of tree hosts.

Although not exhaustive it could give you an idea of what to avoid.
