Root protection? Don't be silly.

There's been a lot on nonsense been talked about root protection for trees. I mean, let's face it, these 40 footers have years of life left in them. Besides, we've dug down 5ft, 4 metres on the other side to put in a root barrier to protect the house.

Planners forgot to put any protection on the trees. Since the builders saw us on site I guess we won't get the job :001_smile:

 

There's about 12 like this.

 

In just about any other industry an error of that magnitude would lead to an investigation,changes in protocols and management practices. Why does it appear so common in planning departments?:thumbdown:
