Arborist Position.

 

SCP 23 £20,400 Relocation package may be available

 

Full Time - Permanent

 

37 hrs per week

 

You will be based within the Grounds Maintenance Team at Rotterdam Road, providing Arboricultural services to parks, cemeteries, open spaces, highways, housing and private customers.

 

Reporting directly to the Arboricultural Manager, the Arborist will be responsible for carrying out arboricultural maintenance duties, and contribute, as required, to the overall commercial effectiveness of the Arboricultural service.

 

In addition to having experience in arboriculture you will need to hold all relevant NPTC qualifications (CS30/31, CS38, and CS39) and be able to demonstrate that you can be effective in a competitive commercial environment. You should also possess a clean current driving license. B+E entitlement would be desirable but not essential.

You should be able to deal with all stakeholders and customers in a courteous, professional and commercial manner, to ensure best business and service outcomes for Norse are achieved.

Team working is an essential element to this position as is good communication skills and a flexible approach to the provision of the service

The nature of this role will also mean the successful candidate would be prepared to be available for stand by and emergency call out if required.
