Tipping trailer sides

Hi just got a bit of a tractor tipping trailer project. It's got no sides or rear door but the chassis is good and it tips well.

How much is it likely to cost me to get some metal drop down sides and a rear door made up - just to give me an idea what to expect not going to hold anyone to it! I will obviously be in touch with a local fabricator at some point but thought someone on here might have already done the same thing themselves.

It's a 10 ft x 6 ft trailer.

And just on the off chance someone can recommend me a fabricator to try in South Lakes area of Cumbria :001_smile:

Won't really be taking them off very often if at all, just opening them to load things in and out of. If I needed to take them off it wouldn't matter if they were a 2 man lift for the amount of times that I'd be wanting to do it.

Was thinking steel box section frame with steel sheet infill panels rather than wood panels.

Daleside Welding, Kirkby Lonsdale

John Metcalfe, Crook

Probably your best bets. Whereabouts South Lakes are you?

John Metcalf is the man, he looks after my tractors and he is brilliant! He's only at crook hall so not far away for you mate.
