Book - the body language of trees

Hi,

 

I have a book from the library - The body language of trees by Claus Mattheck.

 

I just tried to buy my own copy and it is £130 used on Amazon - no longer available new.

 

Is there another way to get a copy cheaper? Or is there a newer book by him which covers the same things? He has written lots!

Definitely a book worth getting. To the OP, I think the arb association have just started reprinting and selling the research for amenity trees series which the book you're looking for is included in. Check out their website

The library book is on my sister's ticket at the university where she works, out until December, hopefully the new one will be out by then? Or this one reprinted, or I will try the other (cheaper!) one in the meantime. Can't really afford the 2nd hand prices! Eek!

Glad you got one Tony. Up to that point the book club was going very positively. I was next in the que as well:y:

 

Our local library only lets you read this book in the library. People try on the inflationary prices on the web, but really does anyone pay these prices?
