Hi all, since my top handled saw is on the bench in bits i'd like to mod the zorst as it's the more silenced version as fitted to some 200T's and i think it may be a simple case of getting the dremel out and cutting some metal away? Any links or pics to this procedure please as i'm struggling to find any. Tank yew all kindly, W. :001_smile:

You generally cut a hole in the muffler to the bottom end of the part that protrudes through the clutch cover.

You usually line it up with the gallery that goes through to where the exhaust port hole is but it isn't critical. Just don't drill through the outer case as I have seen before:001_rolleyes:

10mm is fine - 13mm makes more noise and a little more go.

I do mod the ones I do a fair bit more than that but that is my "extra" bit of zing and for me to know and you to work out:001_rolleyes::001_tt2:

Went to mod the muffler on my Ms200 today...... The head sheared off one of the exhaust bolts. Doh!!!
