I use this; Woodworm Killer - Killgerm Chemicals Ltd

You have a choice of diluting with water or white spirit, depending on the application needed. From past experience I'd do it sooner rather than later. The little blighters love sycamore and apple and beech so if you have these you are vulnerable. Hope this helps!

In reality your better off keeping all your wood sealed away from the dreaded furniture beetle. If your wood has not already got wood worm then you can apply as much chemical as you like but it probably won't stop them as handling will just rub of the chemical. Thats why when I'm asked to spray timber for woodworm as part of my job I won't spray unless the worm is active.

Remember if you did treat it and sell it you would need a coshh sheet for the chemical. I deal with sx environmental for my woodworm treatment its a bit more user friendly than the killgerm one. I would be interested to know if they will accept an order from you as its supposed to be professional use only.
