Sub Contracting
Hi Im putting out the feelers for groundie sub-contracting works.
The set up I have is: Myself and another groundie Own saws, PPE, Fuels, ladders etc. 4x4 access with towing capability Chipper £256 per day (£16 per man per hour x 8 hours) Looking to work up to 65 miles north and and south of grantham on the A1 corridor. We are both real grafters so you will get your moneys worth.

a 20 minute job is always going to be expensive in comparison though, economies of scale and all that.
This guy is on about subbing work, doubt he'll get any takers at that price, there cant be many companies or climbers that need to hire 2 groundies with a chipper, if they do then they cant actually be set up for treee work. MAybe the odd freelance climber might get a private job and need some groundcrew/chipper.
