Short Term Tree Officer, S London Council up to £18 p/h PAYE

Tree officer required for busy planning section of outer London Borough.

 

Our client is a south London borough who are looking to engage a temporary Tree Officer for a three month contract initially but this may be extended.

 

The role will involve processing TPO and Conservation area applications, making TPOs and assisting the Principal Tree Officer with more complicated issues. As this role will involve processing applications to work on protected trees and reviewing BS5837 surveys candidates would ideally need some prior experience of dealing with trees in relation to planning law and in addition hold a level three qualification in arboriculture and a driving licence.

 

There is flexibility of hours with the opportunity to work full time five days per week or part time minimum three days per week.

 

A pay rate of £15.00 to £18.00PH is offered, subject to experience and method of employment.
