Lead and Second Climber Needed South Staffs up to £390 p/w PAYE

Our client is a successful AA approved contractor based in a pleasant rural location in south Staffordshire. They run three teams of staff and are currently very busy. They have a wide client base from domestic and commercial work to large public sector contracts. They also undertake some utility sub-contract work.

 

The company currently has two vacancies for climbing arborists:

 

Lead Climber:

The Lead Climber will need to hold NPTCs for aerial use of the saw and be able to undertake to the full range of arboricultural operations. A driving licence is essential along with NPTCs CS30,31,38,39 (or equivalent). Applications from candidates with utility units would be particularly welcome although this is not essential. A pay rate of £390 per week is offered for 40 hours. There is the opportunity to increase earnings through over time and stand by duty which are paid at enhanced rates. Other benefits include paid annual leave and training.

 

Second Climbers:

Second climbers will be expected to have qualifications for aerial use of the chainsaw, (NPTCs CS30,31,38,39 or equivalent), but previous experience, although desirable is not essential. A pay rate of £350 per week is offered for 40 hours.There is the opportunity to increase earnings through over time and stand by duty - both of which are paid at enhanced rates. Other benefits include paid annual leave and training.
