Derby City Council is a unitary authority based in the East midlands region of England, and is well connected by major transport links to neighbouring cities of Nottingham, Leicester and Birmingham. The city also benefits from being close to outdoor attractions such as the Peak District National Park.

We are looking for an experienced Arborist to join our Grounds Maintenance Team.

 

You will join our enthusiastic team of arborists and charge hand arborists operating out of our Stores road depot and carrying out varied tree works across the City of Derby.

All applicants should be committed to improving Public Open Spaces and working with local communities across the City to make a positive difference to the high profile service the Council provides.

 

The successful candidate must hold the relevant arboricultural, qualifications to undertake tree work operations across the city, ensuring a safe and pleasant environment.

 

In return Derby City Council offers in house and industry based training to enhance your long term career prospects and provides all equipment and PPE.
