Hi

There are a few of these around second hand at the moment. How good are they. The video on the TW website seems convincing but what are they like in the real working world.

Thanks

Andy

The 2 main problems with them are the hopper is too tall and hard to unblock and they discharge onto the floor.

Ive got one not bad little machine. As above hopper bit to high but you can adjust the angle to shoot the chips mine shoots straight into my ranger pickup or straight in the trailer.I find unblocking (wet conny) easy just one bolt and in you go. Ill be sorry to see mine go as I'm soon to upgrade.

In the "Large Equipment" Forum lol!

I thought of adding onto the wee chipper thread......

"High and unergonomic feed hopper and silly discharge height. Cs100s are the better choice if you are looking for a chipper that size "

I know the CS100s are ace. It's the 1200 quid s/h price tag on the TW that's tempting me. For the price are the shortfalls worth it. Won't be used a massive amount.

For that sort of money you could get a good treebusta which is a great little chipper apart from the low outlet,

Surely the solid second hand value of the cs100 is a plus for the future? Makes it more of a safe bet where the TW value is dwindling a bit. You would sell a tidy cs100 quite easily. Ideal startup chipper.
