Why so much Firewood kit for sale?

Noticed a lot of firewood processing machinary for sale in June Forestry fournal, are people going out of business or gearing up?

Probably due to the amount of people who recieved grants & relised how much hard work & financial outlay there is to do the job properly.

Or it could simply be the time of year.

 

Looking for a reasonable priced processor in October would be a different story I reckon.

yeah saw that , a company selling a whole lot of stuff some not even used and some only less than 12 months old????

 

too much work, not enough timber??

Log baron: Thats what I wondered... could be any number of reasons though & just a co-incidence, but I've seen 3 companys selling all their gear this week, that does not look like 'upgrading'.

Our nearest town has 2 Woodburner/pellet boiler shops that have moved into bigger show rooms as sales so good, one puts a lot of new customers in our direction and told me they are busy selling stoves. I Looked in the other new showroom on a weekday and full of folk looking at and buying stoves! so the demand for firewood will continue to grow!
