Technical Sales Rep - Home based £30,000

Our client is the leading supplier of specialist solutions for soil stabilisation, erosion control, drainage and environmental protection problems. This includes products designed for tree root protection and tree planting within the construction industry. As a growing company they are seeking a Technical Sales person Product Manager to work within the Arboricultural Department.

 

This is an external position working from home, with circa 2 days a month spent at Head Office in the Midlands. Preferably candidates will be located as centrally as possible as most of the workload is central and south.The key focus for this role will be to sustain and expand the Tree Root Development department and where necessary to cross sell other company products. The Technical Sales person will conduct regular presentations and seminars to potential clients, provide product and installation guidance and increase sales revenue. The role will also include site visits to provide technical assistance and the completing of case studies.

 

The ideal candidate will be an experienced arboriculturalist with a passion for trees or a landscape architect with experience of working with local authorities. They will have 2 years post qualification experience, be a confident and effective communicator with good presentation skills and will be target driven. The role would ideally suit a fully qualified arboriculturalist who is looking for a new challenge by entering into specialist sales and marketing.

 

Additional requirements:

•Willing to travel throughout the UK

•Computer literate

•Confident with Public Speaking to small and large groups

 

Salary is £30,000 plus benefits to include company car, lap top and mobile.
