milking problem with my sirius rope

bought a Sirius rigging rope recently and after a couple of uses the core disappeared into the sleeve at one end. is this going to effect the rope in any serious way? would also like to bye a new rope with less stretch, what would people recommend a tighter weave with less movement between the core and the sleeve. thanks for any info
