Velcro straps for treehog spikes

I have recently bought some tree hog spikes but they don't seem to do any Velcro straps for them. Could I use another make like the bashlin ones. My old ones have the Velcro straps which I much prefer but aren't treehog but the fittings are much the same. Any help, advice much appreciated. Marc
