Help with I.D. of these (fungus, trees, etc)?

I have created many imgur albums given the number of photos taken for each.

Album 1 - fungus on Fraxinus excelsior - Fungus on Fraxinus excelsior - Imgur

Is the fungus just feeding on deadwood from basal wounds or is it more hazardous?

Album 2 - unknown tree - Unknown tree - Imgur

Looks poplar-y - some of the small new leaves are almost like tiny aspen leaves

Album 3 - unknown tree - Winter flowering cherry, perhaps? - Imgur

Winter flowering cherry of some sort?

The fungi is Inonotus hispidus.

Have a look at the fungi directory in the tabs above for some information on decay type, hosts etc.....

Don't know the second set in terms of Id

The last is a prunus species

.

Thanks for the diagnosis on the fungus. I've decided, given their lean and location (very near to numerous properties), removing them may be the best course of action.

the 2nd one does look poplar like - a hybrid perhaps

My only reservation was the very downy, white stems and the almost shrub-like appearance - then again, it may be because it was in a brick planter that wasn't very wide whatsoever.

I can get more photos if people need - I frequently do inspections in the area.

Going by the stems and buds it looks like Rosaceae to me, Bradford Pear?

I looked at it in spring and then summer - it never produced any fruit whatsoever, and I do not recall blossom akin to what one would expect from a pear.

It's really bugging me.

If anyone wants specific photos of parts of the tree, let me know and I'll provide them.
