Just wanting to know peoples thoughts on using a lanyard like this for work positioning? I've been using it like this for the last couple of days and it's really quite comfortable and puts me in an excellent cutting position as it kind of equalizes my center pull on the bridge and the side pull on the lanyard if that makes sense? Lol

Certainly not recommended. Clip into the bottom D's. The way you have done it is one on the side D's one to the bridge. Side d should mainly be used for chugging down where the bottom D's can be used for anything. Not for me.

Is this what you lot are climbing on these days? How on earth do you work out if you're clipped in or not?

I will clip my lanyard directly onto my sliding D on my kolkbri sometimes, but not into the HC.

Mmmmm, looks unnecessarily complicated. I reckon either use the 'd's (upper or lower) or come back to a single attachment additional to your main system on the bridge. Keep it simple as possible to keep it safe.

One disadvantage with a setup like that, is that your bridge becomes a single point of failure.

If your Silky takes out your bridge you're on a fast descend.
