Marlow Gecko, only short though so I want a longer rope when I can afford to get one. Never been in a situation where I've thought hmm I can't do this tree without a really expensive rope. Works with HC, holds my weight ... does the job!

New England Tachyon with single spliced eye. Works brilliantly with either frition hitch or mechanical devices i.e spiderjack when i use it! Worth paying extra for a good rope, especially when you use it every day. Much more hard wearing than its small diameter counterparts such as Yale blaze and imori. Would recommend it to anyone

Ive just gone over to vt on my gecko and i think its so awesome, 13mm is heavier than the thinner ropes to self tends well after about 20ft, 13mm diametre is nice to my hands and is rreally good for footlocking.

Win Win on a cheap rope

Re: Which Rope Do You Guys/Girls Have.

25m arbmaster. Been climbing on a few others over the last 2-3 years. So happy to get back on it. Very static for ascending but under shock loading from a sudden stop, it gives somehow turns dynamic and absorbs the shock. Also handles the heat from rapid decents without glazing. That's why I use use armor prus poly.
