Hello the time has come once again for a new harness, I have been looking on the net and frankly my little mind can't cope. My old harness is a komet sliding d with the metal seat, I now find this quite restrictive and makes my left kidnet hurt. Has any one got any suggestions, I'm erring towards the Skylotec. Any idea which shop has the best selction so i can go dangle in a few? I'm based in London.

Depending on where in London, although i prefer treeworker, i do know that Honey Brothers will allow you to take a swing in a harness, which is a trip down the A3 but not to far out of the way.

We have a Skylotec at work and i personally think its pretty awful, the back support is it's saving grace...very chunky harness.

I currently climb using the Treemotion by Treevolution, awesome harness for attachments, comfortable when working work positioned and has an adjustable attachment point on the front, which is now replaceable...The whole harness is adjustable which allows you to make it suit your needs, once messed around for a few hours. I have heard the Petzl Sequioa is a good harness and it seems the rock climbing stylie is in...

Depends if you want style as well as comfort

Try as many as you can, keep an open mind about the style of harness, and I'm sure you'll find a winner. So much choice.

The skylotec is a good harness, so is the sequoia, and the treemotion. Not a big fan of the newer komet harnesses myself. The Heightec Bee is worth a look too.

What i want is more freedom of movement in the leg department I have now found the Kolibri just to add more choice to it. Looks like I'll be spending saturday running around the south of england trying on harnesses.

Thanks so far.
