correct on all of the above! I attach a small ball to my climbing line about 1-5ft above my spliced eye. I then tie a marlin spike under my hitch and clip the bottom crab into it.i then advance my spliced eye and hitch up to the redi and watch for the small ball to pass through and connect onto the trapeze shackle, keep pulling and the shackle opens the ropeman which inturn opens the cinch. Both then slide off the rope and redi is now off the branch. The redi stays on your line via the hns crab and you just pull the whole system back to you and remove from the rope. Hopefully ill get a better video done tomorrow that explains it all.
