climbing near powerlines

if climbing and dismantaling a tree within the 1 tree length do you still need to inform power company even if it can be done with out it comming near wires,sorry for another dull hse type post, but would like to do things right and get up to date:001_smile:any help would be great thancks

how close is the closest limb?branch from the wires ?? also is it low voltage or high voltage ?? the ruling it that if it is within 2 tree lengths you shold inform your local power suplier but to be honest unless there is a risk of any part of the tree comming into the live and proximity zones then they really aint to bothered
