Most "robust" climbing line...

Basically I'm currently running a Yale Blue Tongue as my climbing line with a zig zag and my line has seem to just taken a beaten. Seems to be very prone to fraying, and I'm not being a twa* in the tree and not taking any care.

Would just like to know other people's experiences with their climbing my lines with how robust they are and whether there's ropes out there that are worth me replacing my blue tongue with.

Thanks

I run 11.7 tachyon with my zigzag with no issues or fraying.

Do you use a cambium saver or pulley at your TIP?

Hi all,

I'm looking to purchase my first treeclimb specific rope but I'm undecided about the Yale xtc, edelrid XP or the New England hivee / UV. Every time I read someone about the edelrid xp they prefer it over a XTC and others. The yale XTC is very popular and everyone says it is tuff. The new england hivee/uv is the cheaper one but I read some people pointed it is a bit "hardcover" and can slip in a frition hitch.

Anyone can help? I'm loking for a durable but also easy to use with frition hitches (hitchclimber system with distel, VT or knut) to use most of the time with a friction saver.

16 stran rope is the way to go right? I'm stuck in these 3 Iḿ really considering the NE uv/hivee for the price but i'm not much experienced.

Thanks in advance
