Our client is an established arboricultural business based in Hamburg northern Germany. The owner is an english man who has developed a strong client base which includes the city council and other large commercial clients. They have a strong order book and undertake only arboricultural work.

They are currently looking to employ an english climber on a 3 month contract from January 2016 to end of March 2016. The role will have the option of going permanent or becoming long term if the candidate likes working in Germany. They currently have four arborists and work as one large team undertaking a lot of routine pruning. They use a MEWP for accessing the trees and establishing an anchor point. The yard is based about 30 minutes from Hamburg where most of the work is undertaken. They would like to have a climber who has 1-2 years climbing experience. NPTCs for aerial use of the saw are essential as is a driving licence.

The rate of pay offered will range from 2300 to 2600 euros per month subject to experience and qualifications. The job is PAYE so there will be benefits to include paid annual leave (34 days) and sickness insurance and a pension. The client will organise a flat near the yard which will cost 300-400 euros per month inclusive of bills. The candidate will pay for travel to/from Germany.
