Price of logs

How much could I expect to pay per tonne for decent 20-25% dry hardwood logs in Mid-Wales? Collected price would be helpful as delivery costs will vary.

I'm contemplating installing a 40kW Log & Pellet Dual biomass boiler and need a reasonable estimate of fuel costs for logs. Could anyone point me towards reliable registered suppliers?

Thank you

Hi torchy

im in llanidloes mid wales and am currently charging £70 cube for a good mix of 1o inch logs with some soft in each bag.

I also have a lot of chopped smaller diameter biomass produced by our welmac branch logger, which is the same price but seems to have a lot more energy in it.

Come and have a look[07792617403]
