Very good permanent Arborist opportunity in Harrow

Arborist – Harrow/Hillingdon - £20,000 to £26,000 basic + overtime Excellent opportunity to join a large business at the forefront of green service industry.

 

We're looking for 6 Arborist’s to work on a new vegetation management contract working in the vicinity of main roads, parks and all public land.

 

Responsibilities:-

 

• Oversee and execute site clearance of vegetation surrounding roads, through the use of appropriate equipment.
  
• Oversee the safe and efficient delivery of shutdown completions, overseeing and taking ownership of the risk
  
• assessment process.
  
• Ensure all tools and equipment are stored appropriately following the completion of each site operation, to ensure no loss of equipment.
  
• To oversee the maintenance of site vehicles, chippers and equipment, updating relevant maintenance logs as required.
   
  Essential Requirements
   
  
  • Experience working at heights
    
  • Current / Previous Arborist experience
    
  • First Aid Certification
    
  • Experience working in the vicinity of overhead power lines
    
  • In Depth Arboricultural knowledge
    
  • NPTC – Qualifications
    
  • CS30, 31, 32, 38, 39, 40, 41
    
  • Full UK Drivers Licence B + E
    

   

  Desirable

   

  • Stump grinding qualifications and experience
    
  • Experience using cutting equipment at heights
    
  • IPAF Certification and MEWP experience
    
  • Experience working for an Arboriculture Association Professional Tree Inspection approved contractor
