VAT on Timber for Firewood

I know it has been covered before but I have tried searching for the post and unfortunately VAT is too common a term to be used in the site search engine.

If I sell timber (whole, straight off jobs, unprocessed and very green) to a firewood merchant who will then process the timber and sell on as firewood to domestic end users what rate should I be charging him VAT on the timber I supply? I thought it was 20%, but his accountant says 5% (which is the rate he applies to the firewood he sells on).

Any info gratefully received - cheers.
